kodest Technology has its own R&D team and has established industry-university-research cooperation mechanisms with many universities, and is committed to promoting the development of China's electrophoretic coatings in a more environmentally friendly, economical and energy-saving direction. After nearly ten years of development, the Engineering Technology Center has cultivated a group of technical elites in the electrophoretic coating industry and formed a sustainable development talent echelon; the center currently has 35 researchers, with more than 15% of them having doctoral and master's degrees; and plans to establish a postdoctoral research workstation within three years of planning. The company has hired industry veterans all year round and established a team of technical consultants with professional titles.

The Engineering Technology Center has a resin synthesis laboratory, a color paste grinding laboratory, a coating and application laboratory, a physical and chemical testing room and a pilot laboratory. It is also equipped with a xenon lamp aging machine, a constant temperature and humidity testing machine, an automatic potentiometric titrator, a salt spray testing machine, a spectrophotometer, a colorimeter, a gas chromatograph and various other full-range performance testing equipment. In 2018, the Engineering Technology Center laboratory passed the national laboratory CNAS accreditation, and is ahead of its peers in the same market segment at the same time.
